When Will I Die?

Death can come both unannounced and announced. Poor or rich, old or young, it makes no variance to Death. In Mahabharatha, there is an event where the Pandavas run into death in the appearance of a Yaksha that lived in a lake. During their banishment, when Pandavas were living in forest, they were approached by a Brahmin, who asked them to recover the holy grass that a deer had run away with. Yudhishtir sent his brothers to get it, but no one returned. Lastly, when he went to find them, he found them lying lifeless on the banks of a lake. Not knowing what had killed them, he felt shaken. Since he felt thirsty, he tried to sip some water from lake. Abruptly, he heard a voice, which warned him not to drink water from the lake because he would die, similar to his brothers. It was the voice of a Yaksha who lived in that lake. Yaksha told Yudhishtir that he had to reply to his questions first prior to drinking, or he will die. Yudhishtir agreed, and then Yaksha asked several questions. Yudhishtir answered them accurately. 1 of the question was, “What is the utmost incredible thing in the world?” Yudhishtir’s answered, “Although human beings are mortal, yet they act as if they will live eternally.”

Yudhishtir spoke correctly. If we recognize that death is inescapable, we would be more aware of our actions on the earth. An astrologer will be capable of predicting the time of an individuals’s death from their horoscope. The planetary positions in the horoscope will specify the period when death is most probable to occur. Although many individuals ask astrologers when will they die, the majority of astrologers shy away from giving a specific answer for several reasons.

 

One motive why people wish to know how or when they will die is that they desire to prevent it. For example, if an astrologer predicts that individual will die because of an accident, person may become additionally careful about their wellbeing.

The specific time of death is actually extremely hard to predict in astrology. This depends on the Dasha, Sub-Dasha period and planetary positions. Mars – Mangal/Mars can denote a violent death or violence. Since it rules things like guns, fire and knives, death may be the consequence of a shooting, fire, or stabbing. It will be traumatic and sudden. Death because of Mars aspect is swift.

 

Pluto – Pluto is related to serious trauma and violent death. For instance, an unexpected aneurysm, which brings instant death, or an accident resulting in a deadly injury.

 

Uranus – Uranus is, in numerous ways, the reverse of Saturn. It indicates spontaneous events; therefore, death might come out of the blue, in a completely unexpected way. Uranus also rules surgery and accidents. The planet is related with unexpected and bizarre events.

 

Neptune – Neptune rules the water, thus it indicates death by an accident in the water or drowning. When Neptune in the chart is activated at their death time, the death may be mysterious, or it may happen during sleep.

 

Sun – The placement of Sun with the other planets can assist predict death. Its placement in natal chart gives a hint about how the individual will die. 

 

The planets, Neptune, Pluto and Uranus, often stand in for the entities, Ketu and Rahu, of Vedic astrology. Libra: Infection in the neck or tying the rope around neck or alcohol addiction 

Scorpio: Poison, reaction to medicines and drugs.

Sagittarius: Heart attack/drowning in water.

Capricorn: Heat and fire, stomach ulcer, high fever and liver failure.

Aquarius: Reaction to medicines and drugs.

Pisces: Alcohol addiction, sexually transmitted diseases.

 

When distinctive planets happen to occupy the 8th house or the Ascendant, the causes for death will modify. The shadow planet called Dragon’s head (Rahu) causes demise by snake bite and accidents, while Dragon’s tail (Ketu) leads to demise by supernatural activities and lightning if they are present in the Ascendant or the 8th house of birthchart. 

Wishing to know the timing and manner of our death is natural. But some astrologers believe that it’s better not to know these things, as the information may haunt the individual and stop them from enjoying their life fully, particularly if there is an indication of violent or untimely death in birthchart. But if 1 merely wishes to be cautious and shun things that may ground danger to life, there is no problem in knowing stuff. Being forewarned is being forearmed.
