Shiva Mantra 

Shiva Mantras are also known by the other name which is ‘Raksha Kavach Mantra’. This named was given to it since chanting these mantras prevents us from all sorts of dangers, enemies, and threats. The person who chants these Shiv mantras regularly is bestowed with success and prosperity in their lives. 

Lord Shiva – Deity of Shiva Mantra

Lord Shiva is the deity of Shiva Mantra. The literal meaning of the name ‘Shiva’ is auspiciousness and perfection. Lord Shiva is known to be the one who is pure and is not affected by the materialistic worldly desires. He remains unaffected by the three Gunas of Prakrti (Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas).

Lord Shiva is known to defy death. That is why he is also symbolic of ‘immortality. The mere presence of only his name ‘Shiva’ is so powerful that it provides strength to the mind, the body as well as the soul. These mantras have healing power too.
